As a non-economist driving the Economic Freedom Charter, I have faced many questions from mainly the black, previously disadvantaged people. For the rest of us, whether like me, know very little about economics, we all seem to believe that we do. On November the 27th November I have been invited to address the SALTA one-day national conference, “DEEPENING ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION”, so I need to dig into understanding the existing economic divide.

The SALTA conference on the 27th November 2012 was motivating. At no stage was the typical license/raid threat the driving content of the conference. No, the entire day was spend on Economic Transformation, removal of restrictions, inclusion, it was an hounour to participate.
